I always like to get my inspiration from visiting exhibitions, preferably from contemporary art. It's a good thing that Mannheim and the region have such a lively, diverse art scene. The exciting exhibition "A strong breath" https://www.port25-mannheim.de/ausstellungen by Myriam Holme https://myriamholme.de/myriam-holme/ is currently running in the Port25 gallery for contemporary art: aluminum sculptures, folded and commanded, painted and supplemented with gold leaf challenge my photographer's eye, my second creative side. I can hardly get enough of the interesting light refractions and play of colors. Each step creates a different, new view and association. I caught a few today:
The imagination to further edit these photo cutouts of real sculptures has no limits. Is it possible to create something new, even new art, out of excellent art? Inspiring.....
